Linda Ulleseit

Linda Ulleseit was born and raised in Saratoga, California. She is the author of a historical fantasy trilogy for middle grade/YA readers that features flying horses. She is also the author of Under the Almond Trees, a semifinalist in the Faulkner-Wisdom Creative Writing Contest in 2013. Her newest novel is The Aloha Spirit, released in August 2020. Both books are the stories of women in her family who were extraordinary but unsung. Linda is a retired elementary school teacher who has an MFA in creative fiction writing from Lindenwood University. She is a founding member of Paper Lantern Writers.
